The Period Smart Schools Programme is Floé Foundation’s school-based menstrual health initiative, ensuring no girl is held back by her period. Through education, peer support and access to menstrual products, we help secondary school girls across Nigeria manage menstruation with confidence, stay in school and thrive.

3. MyPeriodSponsor Initiative
Keeping Girls in School, One Period at a Time
MyPeriodSponsor is the access and support arm of the Period Smart Schools Programme.
It ensures no girl misses school because she can’t afford sanitary pads. Through community-driven sponsorship, individuals, organisations and partners directly fund vulnerable girls’ menstrual hygiene needs.
How It Works
Sponsors can provide menstrual support for:
One month
One school term
One year
Multiple years
Funds are pooled to provide a reliable supply of sanitary pads throughout the academic year.
