Floé Foundation Launches Floé Pulse: The Pulse of Menstrual Equity in Nigeria

Have Your Say in Nigeria's Monthly Menstrual Health & Period Poverty Survey

At Floé Feminine Hygiene Foundation, we believe that meaningful solutions begin with listening.

Every day, millions of Nigerians experience, witness, or are affected by issues related to menstrual health, period poverty, access to menstrual products, education, stigma, and gender equity. Yet many of these experiences, perspectives, and concerns are never captured in data.

Today, we are excited to launch Floé Pulse, a new monthly public insight survey designed to gather the voices, experiences, and opinions of people across Nigeria.

Floé Pulse will serve as an ongoing platform for understanding public attitudes, knowledge gaps, lived experiences, and emerging issues related to menstrual health and period poverty. The insights gathered will help inform research, advocacy, public awareness campaigns, policy discussions, and future programmes aimed at advancing menstrual equity.

Why Floé Pulse Matters

To create lasting change, we must first understand what people know, what they believe, and what challenges they face.

Through Floé Pulse, we hope to:

  • Generate original data and insights on menstrual health and period poverty in Nigeria.

  • Identify knowledge gaps and areas requiring greater public education.

  • Understand community perceptions and experiences.

  • Inform future research and evidence-based advocacy.

  • Amplify public voices in conversations about menstrual equity.

Each month, Floé Pulse will explore a different topic related to menstrual health, period poverty, education, stigma, access, policy, and gender equality.

This Month's Survey

Topic: Menstrual Health Knowledge & Awareness

How much do Nigerians really know about menstruation?

This month's survey explores public knowledge, awareness, attitudes, and perceptions surrounding menstrual health and education.

The survey takes less than three minutes to complete and is open to everyone, regardless of age or gender.

Together, we can better understand the challenges, identify solutions, and advance menstrual equity for all.
